Marine Engineer (MOS 88L) on a 100' tugboat
in the U.S. Army for 18 months. Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Conducted unassisted engine room watches while underway, monitored and adjusted running equipment, entered observed readings into ship's official log book.
While in port, performed the duties of the Company Administrative Clerk (MOS 75B). Administrative duties included, processing promotions, awards, evaluation reports,
and leave requests. Wrote the Personnel Office SOP and managed and trained junior personnel.
Completed contractual obligation in December 2000 and received an Honorable Discharge. |
